Rob is currently Assistant Director for Digital at Wigan Council and leads the Council’s AI Partnership with Agilisys, which has been driving AI tools deployment across the council for the past 3 years. Wigan is also leading 2 AI prototypes on behalf of the Greater Manchester AI and Data Innovation Office (ADIO).

Rob has worked across local government for the past 20 years in different reform and transformation functions, is an LGA peer and is also an Adjunct for Hult Ashridge Business School. He is passionate about the transformative potential of digital technology and AI as part of a future, more citizen-centred model of public service delivery and what this may also mean for communities and wider local economies.
